Choose between two modes. Fixed date counts every visitor down to the same store-wide deadline, perfect for Black Friday or a weekend sale. Evergreen starts a personal countdown the first time each visitor sees the banner, great for welcome offers.
The timer runs live in the browser and you decide what happens at zero: hide the banner, show an “offer ended” message, or restart the evergreen timer. Link the banner to a sale collection or product, and the text color adjusts automatically so it stays readable on any background.
It's one Liquid file with no app or database. Evergreen timers are saved in each visitor's browser, so every shopper gets their own window. Headline, colors and end behavior are all editable in the theme editor.
Requirements
One Liquid section file. No app, no backend and no database. Nothing else to configure.
Compatibility
Works with any Online Store 2.0 theme, including Dawn and third-party themes. Respects reduced-motion settings and is screen-reader friendly.
