Customizify – Visual Product Designer

Customizify turns any simple WooCommerce product into a personalizable item with a self-contained, dependency-free canvas editor — no external design-tool subscription or API required.

Feature highlights

- Admin-defined "views" per product (e.g. Front / Back) — upload a mockup image and draw the exact print/design area shoppers are allowed to decorate

- Front-end canvas editor: shoppers add text (font, size, color, bold/italic), upload a personal photo, or drop in clipart from your library

- Drag to move, corner handle to resize, top handle to rotate — for every layer

- Layers panel with reorder/delete controls and a live undo/redo history

- Design area boundary keeps every layer inside the printable region

- Global clipart library shared across every customizable product

- Configurable fees: a free text-layer allowance, then a fee per extra text layer, per uploaded photo, and per clipart placed — automatically added to the item price

- Finished design renders to a preview image attached to the cart item and order, visible in the cart, checkout, order-received page, order emails, and the admin order screen

- Inline, no-page-reload editing on the product page

- Seeds a starter clipart library and a sample "Custom T-Shirt" demo product on activation, so the designer is working immediately

Tech stack

Vanilla PHP plugin architecture (no framework dependency), WooCommerce hooks, HTML5 Canvas, vanilla JavaScript — no build step or Node.js required.
