Sift: AI Recruiting & ATS Platform (Full Source Code)

Sift is a full AI recruiting and applicant-tracking platform, built to replace six things recruiters normally do by hand.

Upload a resume (PDF, DOCX, or TXT) and Sift turns it into a clean, structured candidate profile: skills, experience, education, certifications, languages. Every candidate then gets scored against a job with a real breakdown, not a mystery percentage, covering skills, experience, seniority, education and location, with a plain yes/no on your must-have knockouts. You set your own weights.

It works both ways: best candidates for a job, and best jobs for a candidate, including surfacing people already in your database who match a brand-new role.

There's a full ATS pipeline built in: Applied, AI Screening, Shortlisted, Interview, Technical Assessment, Final Interview, Offer, Hired, with notes, tags, and team comments on every candidate card.

For interviews, Sift generates technical, behavioral, situational, and gap-based questions with a scoring rubric, and can score transcripts and draft your interview notes for you.

There's also a recruiter copilot you can ask in plain language, like who should I interview first or find candidates like our last successful hire, grounded in your own candidate data instead of generic advice.

Built on Node.js with zero external dependencies, just node:http, node:sqlite, node:crypto, and node:zlib from the standard library. No npm install, no build step, no bundler, nothing to break on an update. Requires Node.js 22.5 or newer. A live demo is included so you can try the full flow before you buy.
