FieldService Pro - Laravel Field Service Management and Dispatch Software

Overview

FieldService Pro is a complete, self-hosted work-order dispatch system for
HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other field service businesses. Dispatchers
create and assign jobs, technicians work their own schedule from a clean
mobile-friendly "My Jobs" view, and every completed job produces a real
itemized PDF invoice. It's all built on plain Laravel 13, Eloquent, and Blade
with zero SaaS subscription fees.

Key Features

- Hand-rolled authentication with two roles, dispatcher and technician,
  and no bloated auth package, just Auth::attempt() and clean middleware.
- Dispatcher dashboard: unassigned job count, in-progress count,
  today's scheduled jobs, month-to-date revenue, and technician workload
  at a glance.
- Work order management: full CRUD with filters by status, technician,
  and date range; a detail view with an activity/notes thread and inline
  status/technician updates.
- Enforced status workflow: unassigned to scheduled to in progress to
  completed to invoiced (or cancelled at any open stage), so a job can
  never be invoiced before it's actually completed.
- Automatic cost calculation: total = (labor hours × labor rate) plus
  parts cost, computed live and shown on every job and invoice.
- Real PDF invoices generated with barryvdh/laravel-dompdf, itemized
  labor and parts, customer details, and job info, ready to email or print.
- Customer directory with full job history per customer.
- Technician "My Jobs" view, sorted by schedule, so field techs only
  see what's assigned to them.
- Built in five languages: English, Arabic, French, Spanish, and
  Turkish, with a language switcher on every page, right-to-left layout
  for Arabic, and fully localized PDF invoices.
- Realistic seed data: 1 dispatcher, 4 technicians, 26 customers, and
  56 work orders spread across every status for instant demo-ready
  screenshots and testing.
- Clean, responsive Tailwind CSS UI, with a desktop dispatcher console and
  a mobile-friendly technician view, no external fonts or CDNs.
